“I’ve worked with Agua Dulce for over four years, and I deeply appreciate the patience and care they bring to our sessions. They have helped me to feel safer with my emotions and supported my work with boundaries. It’s validating when they are able to see and name systems of heteropatriarchy and white supremacy that shape my experience. I love the way Agua Dulce weaves art, plant medicine and somatics into our work.”

Agua Dulce’s passion is guiding and supporting people to connect with their intuition, higher purpose, and the earth. Sessions consist of a mix of talk therapy and other modalities, such as flower card readings, embodiment practices, and medicine making, based on the interests and needs of each person.
In 2009 Agua Dulce completed a degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy through Antioch University, Culver City. During her studies and clinical hours, Narrative Therapy and Social Liberation Psychology became the two main influences that they worked with the participants of her practice.
In 2011- 2013 Agua Dulce was invited by Brent Blair at the University of Southern California to teach in the Masters in Applied Theater program. Through this program they were introduced to Theater of the Oppressed. For two summers they traveled with students to the Center of Theater of the Oppressed in Rio, Brasil to study Augusto Boal’s theory and praxis- Rainbow of Desire (Boal’s method of theater and therapy), Forum Theater, and Legislative Theater.
Agua Dulce understands the need to bring their cultural, healing and therapeutic practices to folks at the intersections of oppressions. They specialize in working with people experiencing the impacts of state violence, people experiencing the effects of complex trauma and grief, and the LGBTQ/non binary community.
People in need of support through transitions such as becoming new parents, gender affirming surgeries, relationship (partnerships, family) shifts/growth, work shifts/growth, and grieving are encouraged to contact Agua Dulce for a free 20-minute consultation to explore the possibility of working together.
